Who are the WWE stars that will contend for Seth Rollins' title?

WrestleMania 31 had many great moments; nWo returned and faced off with DX in the Sting vs HHH match, The Rock and Ronda Rousey laid the smackdown on HHH and Stephanie McMahon, and The Undertaker returned (and won). All memorable but none with the shock factor of the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Brock Lesnar dominated Roman Reigns throughout most of the match, similar to when he destroyed John Cena at SummerSlam last year.

Near the end of the match Reigns fought back, hitting Lesnar with three Superman punches and two spears, both men were hurt and tired, and then Seth Rollins' music came on and he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, pinning Roman Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

This is the first time the Money in the Bank contract has been used at WrestleMania. It should also be noted that Rollins did not pin the champion, Brock Lesnar to win the championship.

There are only three WWE superstars that can make the case to be the new number one contender to challenge Rollins for the championship, and here they are.

Brock Lesnar

The most deserving number one contender would be Brock Lesnar. Lesnar lost the title to Rollins without even being pinned, he also dominated Reigns for the majority of the match. The only reason that Lesnar may not be considered is if he is planning to take some time off after WrestleMania before he returns to the ring.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns, despite having been tossed around like a rag doll by Brock Lesnar throughout the majority of the match, does deserve consideration. The case for Roman Reigns is that he may have had Brock Lesnar right where he wanted him before Seth Rollins came out, some could make the case that Reigns was on the verge of upsetting the champion. Reigns and Rollins have also had bad blood since the break up of The Shield, fans would love to see this rivalry at a higher level.

Randy Orton

Something that Orton has over both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar is that he was the only one to beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. Orton beat Rollins in a match earlier in the night and has every right to throw his name into the hat as a potential contender to the new champion.

WrestleMania 31 was great, a lot more will be revealed in the next few weeks and hopefully we will see all three of these superstars in the mix to fight "The Future", or perhaps now, "The Present" of the WWE, Seth Rollins, the Heavyweight Champion of the World.
