West Brom midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has picked five Chelsea players in his Team of the Year for the 2014/15 campaign.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the Baggies ace has also revealed that he's nominated Tottenham hotshot Harry Kane as the Player of the Year, while choosing Chelsea's Eden Hazard as the Young Player of the Year.
The best team
Between the sticks, Mulumbu has opted for Spurs shot-stopper Hugo Lloris ahead of the impressive duo of David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois.
Two Southampton stars make his back-line, with Nathaniel Clyne and Jose Fonte being joined by the Chelsea duo of Cesar Azpilicueta and John Terry.
In midfield, the West Brom man opted for the quartet of Yannick Bolasie, Alexis Sanchez, Nemanja Matic and Hazard, while he placed Diego Costa and Kane in his attack.
It's certainly not surprising that he's nominated Hazard and Kane for the two two awards. The duo have been sublime this term, with Belgian international Hazard the talisman for Chelsea as they go in search of securing the Premier League title.
Kane, on the other hand, has been in glorious form in north London this term, and may well secure the Golden Boot award as he continues to go from strength-to-strength at the Lane.
In truth, you can hardly argue with the majority of Mulumbu's picks. At the end of the day, it now looks extremely likely that the Premier League title is heading to Stamford Bridge, and the likes of Terry, Costa and Co. have enjoyed remarkable seasons under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.
In terms of the big prizes, Kane and Hazard are certainly the standout contenders, while some may look towards United goalkeeper David de Gea, despite his snub from Mulumbu.
Terry, despite being in the latter stages of his career, certainly deserves special praise as he looks set to lead the Blues to more silverware, while Hazard has been one of the most consistently brilliant players in the division.
