The Authority are in full swing within the WWE right now but every week it appears that theres a new problem for them from within.

It all started with Randy Orton prior to Survivor Series and he was taken out by Seth Rollins which prompted a big return.

Orton's return has now given him a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Rollins at Extreme Rules later this month.

With Orton now officially out of the Authority, cracks have now begun to show around another member of the faction.

Corporate Kane is much less of a demon these days as he undertakes the role of Director of Operations and occasional enforcer for the Authority.

Many are crying out for Kane to return once again to his former glory and become the Devil's favourite demon.

Well today, the WWE posed the question to the WWE Universe directly via a poll on WWE.com and the Universe showed their resounding opinion on the matter.

According to the poll, 90% of the fans think that Kane should go back to being the masked entity within the WWE.

The polls hosted on the companies website have often been seen to be reflective of what can happen to a superstar on the roster.

So could a return behind the mask be on the cards for the Big Red Monster and if it is, will he join the crusade against the Authority.

It is currently shaping up that everyone in the Authority has a feud heading into Extreme Rules with Rollins taking Orton and Big Show seemingly after Roman Reigns.

Reigns is also being linked with a feud with Bray Wyatt which would naturally free up the Big Show for the event.

So when, if ever could we see the old Kane return?

Extreme night in the making

If the WWE are planning to return Kane back to his former self, who could really blame them for wanting to do it on a grand stage.

The red mask of Kane making its return at Extreme Rules would certainly help to make the event even more entertaining.

We are already booked in for numerous WrestleMania rematches with some highly anticipated matches are set to join them.
