Daniel Bryan's health has been an issue for the former WWE Heavyweight Champion for a long time and it seems like the issue is not getting better.
WWE were worried about Bryan last year before it was eventually revealed that he needed surgery on his neck - surgery which ruled the fan favorite out of action for around eight months. Bryan eventually returned, before a disappointing Royal Rumble resulted in WWE fans at the pay-per-view event voicing their disapproval at the events that had unfolded.
Those fans have been sedated by Daniel Bryan's triumph at WrestleMania 31, which saw him claim the Intercontinental Championship, but his fans have been forced to face facts today after it was revealed that WWE are several worried about Bryan's health again.
WWE protecting Bryan
Bryan did not wrestle on Monday Night Raw last night, a fact which led many to speculate why he didn't take any bumps. According to Wrestling News, the reason is because Bryan is hurting again, with wrestling expert Dave Meltzer uttering words that Daniel Bryan fans will hate.
"If you are wondering why Daniel Bryan didn't wrestle on last night's Raw it's because he is said to be hurting again, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer radio. "Daniel Bryan is not doing well."
"He added, "they're protecting him a lot right now." We also got a report on Saturday from a fan that attended the show in Nottingham that Bryan did not take a single bump in his match."
These reports are certainly worrying for Daniel Bryan fans, and could point to the fact that the former WWE Heavyweight Champion is not completely over his injury from last year.
It is said that Bryan has been protected in all of his matches on the European tour so far, a fact that should worry the whole of the WWE Universe.
