Published Add your comment

Theo Walcott’s future has been the subject of strong speculation for some time now but it looks like closure is imminent. Only yesterday was it claimed that the winger is open to signing a new deal at Arsenal and today Arsene Wenger has made it clear that he wants him to stay. The Frenchman said that he envisaged Walcott having a great future at the club despite his struggles this season, and also claimed he was getting better every week. Liverpool were said to be contenders for his signature but their interest will likely only be present if Raheem Sterling ends up leaving. In other news Arsenal are said to be monitoring Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of a potential summer deal. The striker’s future is uncertain given the turmoil unfolding at the Signal Iduna Park, though Dortmund won’t accept anything shy of £30 million.
