German boss sees Old Trafford hot-seat as dream job

The aftermath of Jurgen Klopp’s admission that he will be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer was always going to include a host of rumours over his future. Yet perhaps the most interesting piece of recent gossip centres around words apparently spoken by the German before he considered taking his exit from the Signal Iduna Park. According to The Sun Klopp made it clear off record last September that if he were to move to England Manchester United would be a dream job. Currently Louis van Gaal is performing excellently at Old Trafford so don’t expect to see Klopp there anytime soon, but if proven true it’s exciting for the future nonetheless. Elsewhere the Red Devils have made contact over a possible move for Memphis Depay, according to PSV’s technical director, Marcel Banks. Van Gaal has worked with Depay before, and the confirmation of his interest could see fans take the inevitable gossip to come more seriously.
