Jose Mourinho could lose out on Petr Cech replacement

Chelsea are interested in securing a deal for young Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli but could be stifled, as the Championship outfit are ready to offer him a new contract. Mourinho made a personal check on the England U21 international during Fulham’s fixture with Rotherham and is said to consider him a possible alternative to Petr Cech as Thibaut Courtois’ number two. The youngster only made his first-team debut at Craven Cottage last August, but has already proven himself a useful talent and Fulham are moving to tie his future to the club. In other news the Blues could well sign Atletico Madrid ace Koke this summer, but only if they agree to meet his huge €60 million release clause and the player makes clear to Diego Simeone his willingness to move. Likelihood of Chelsea trying, 10 out of 10. Likelihood of deal actually happening? Something far less.
