United to sign the 'New Ronaldo'

Memphis Depay is more likely to join Manchester United than Liverpool based on the fact the Dutch winger has already worked under Louis van Gaal. That's according to Ajax head coach Ronald de Boer, who told talkSPORT's Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show that the 21-year-old has all the attributes to become a Premier League superstar. The PSV Eindhoven ace has been heavily linked with a move to England this summer, and De Boer says the relationship Depay has with the Red Devils boss from their time together in the Netherlands national team fold could prove decisive in attempts to lure the player to Old Trafford. Compared in playing style to a young Cristiano Ronaldo, the fleet-footed forward is expected to cost around £25m after enhancing his reputation following a sensational season in Holland. Depay helped end PSV's seven-year wait for the Eredivisie title, and will depart the Philips Stadion to much fan fare when the transfer window reopens.
