Martin Odegaard is just getting used to life at Real Madrid after his high-profile switch to Spain, and the last thing he needs is Cristiano Ronaldo showing him up in training.
However that's exactly what happened this week as the two limbered up for a session ahead of Madrid's showdown against Almería tomorrow.
The young Norwegian has made headlines since his move from his home country but they haven't been all good. Reports from Spain have suggested that the 16-year-old has refused to train with the reserves and wanted to be with the first team - but it seems as though he should have been careful what he wished for.
Real Madrid could be about to hand Martin Odegaard his full Real Madrid debut after manager Carlo Ancelotti named him in the full squad for the first time, but he'll want to hide in shame after watching this video back.
The clip, uploaded by Spanish newspaper AS, shows both Ronaldo and Odegaard clowning around in training, with the Portuguese ace showing off some of his trademark fancy footwork. Sadly for his young team-mate he turned out to be the butt of the joke as Ronaldo lured him into thinking he was going to let him have the ball, only to drag it back.
Real Madrid will be hoping to keep the pressure up on Barcelona at the top of the table with a win tomorrow, although time is running out for them to overhaul their Catalan rivals with just five games remaining.
Two points separate the great rivals who have also made it to the final four of the Champions League. Real Madrid will bid to make it to the final for the second consecutive season when they take on Juventus, while Barcelona take on Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich side.
