What the future holds for Didier Drogba is a question plenty of people, the man himself included, will be asking themselves as the end of the season draws closer, and Jose Mourinho’s latest quotes have done little to clear the matter up. When asked Mourinho said that he hadn’t spoken to his Ivorian striker over whether or not he’ll be handed a new deal, and indicated that it would ultimately be Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s decision. Describing him as a special player, Mourinho hinted that he wanted to keep Drogba, but the decision looks out of his hands for now. In other news Brazilian youngster Nathan has passed a Stamford Bridge medical, but a deal could be hijacked by Porto. The 19-year-old was in attendance to watch Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal, which could be testament to where he wants to end up.
