Olivier Giroud has found himself in the media spotlight this week, what with people debating whether or not he has what it takes to fire Arsenal to a Premier League title. In any case though the man himself has looked far better in front of goal this year than in season’s past, and he’s credited that to his recovery from the lengthy spell he had off thanks to injury last year. The Frenchman missed three months after breaking his tibia in August but has returned with aplomb, and admitted that he had enjoyed great form since getting back to full fitness. Next up there’s big transfer news, with Chelsea star Petr Cech said to be ready to move to Arsenal. Widely tipped to leave the Blues, Cech is said to want to stay in England, making the Gunners automatic favourites for his signature.
