They might have waged many a battle during Jose Mourinho’s first stint as Chelsea manager, but The Special One and ex-Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson are friends now that the latter has retired. Mourinho described how he missed his formidable opponent, but that they often speak on the phone and even admitted that he asked him a lot of questions. Mourinho’s Blues side are set to clinch this year’s Premier League title, although he still has some way to go before he can think about matching Fergie’s feats. From Manchester United to noisy neighbours Manchester City, Mourinho has also claimed that the Citizens should have been docked points for their breach of Financial Fair Play rules. He said that simply having to pay a fine was unfair, and he may have a point. With the Mancunian giants’ financial resources what’s £50m between friends?
