Manchester United could use Belgian international Adnan Januzaj in their bid to bring PSV ace Memphis Depay to Old Trafford this summer, according to talkSPORT.
The report claims that the Red Devils would be willing to send Januzaj on loan to PSV in the summer transfer window as they go in search of improvement ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
Struggles
Januzaj, who entered the first team scene under David Moyes last season, has endured a tricky campaign under Dutch boss Louis van Gaal this term. In fact, despite being handed the No.11 shirt before the start of this season, the youngster has only made eight starts under the new United boss.
And if Depay does arrive at the Theatre of Dreams this summer, then it may prove even more difficult for Januzaj to break into the side as he goes in search of success on English soil.
Perhaps, then, PSV will be interested in offloading Depay, who has also been linked to Liverpool, if they manage to sign Januzaj on loan.
After all, their sporting director Marcel Brands only recently admitted that he'd like to bring Januzaj to the club, as he told reporters: “If such a player like Adnan Januzaj would like to come and play Champions League football, you have a chance of making a temporary move.”
Perfect deal
There's no doubt about it, if United manage to pull off the £25 million deal for Depay, then it would prove a fine signing for the club who appear to be in need of change ahead of next season.
Ultimately, Depay would bring creativity and goals to the Red Devils, while sending Januzaj out on loan for the season would only improve him as he'd get the opportunity to play week in, week out.
