Mourinho to bring Real Madrid player to Stamford Bridge

Published 1 Comments

Chelsea look ready to end Fabio Coentrao’s Real Madrid nightmare and bring him to the Premier League this summer, with the left-back said to be interested in joining. According to a transfer report in the Telegraph Blues boss Jose Mourinho is likely to turn to his former club as he seeks to strengthen his newly-crowned English champions, and Coentrao, who can play at either left-back, left-wing or central midfield would be a versatile, yet very cheap, option. He’s been frozen out by Marcelo at the Santiago Bernabeu, and apparently wants to move on to pastures new. That’s not the only dealings Chelsea might have in Spain though, as it’s also said Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann is on Mourinho’s radar. The Frenchman is valued at a hefty £44 million, but the Blues could use Filipe Luis as a bargaining chip.
