Golden State Warriors suffer first defeat

We begin in the NBA where the Chicago Bulls appear to be heading for an uncertain future despite their on court success. The Windy City franchise are one-up in their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers and look poised for a deep postseason run. A new report today though has suggested that the Bulls front office want to fire head coach Tom Thibodeau even if they win the NBA title. Meanwhile, on the court, the Golden State Warriors tasted defeat for the first time in the 2015 playoffs. Having swept the Pelicans in round one, Steph Curry and co saw their second round series against the Grizzlies tied up at one a piece after a 97-90 reverse. Finally, in the NFL, Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger has received the backing of teammate Taylor Lewin. Mattenberger is expected to lose his starting role to new arrival Marcus Mariota, but Lewin believes the second year QB is ready to fight for his spot against the hyped draft prospect.
