Jose Mourinho says this player will win player of the year next year

Jose Mourinho has backed Oscar to follow Eden Hazard and win the PFA player of the year award for Chelsea next season. The Brazilian has come in for criticism this season after some lacklustre performances but Mourinho has backed the playmaker to get back to his best sooner rather than later. Chelsea are leading Manchester United and Manchester City in the race to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke this summer. That's according to the Sun, who say the Blues are willing to offer £40 million for his services. And finally Steven Gerrard has aimed a dig at Chelsea fans after they gave him a standing ovation during yesterday's 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, saying he was surprised to seem them turn up to a game let alone applaud him.
