Astonishing comments made by one hugely respected coach have proven that, despite impressing Tampa Bay staff since arriving as the number one overall pick, Jameis Winston still has plenty of people to convince before making his NFL bow later this year.

Elsewhere, the fallout from Tom Brady's suspension continues. The MLB meanwhile are taking their own precautions in light of the deflate gate scandal. Let's not forget about the two huge performances in critical NBA playoff games last night, either.

We begin in the NFL where Jameis Winston has been called out for his behavior by yet another high profile name. Legendary former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden has claimed that the number one pick was an "embarrassment" to the university during his time with the Seminoles – his performances at quarterback overshadowed by his off-field issues.

Winston arrives in the NFL with a checkered history. His time with FSU was impressive on the field, a 26-1 record, but incidents including a sexual assault allegation and childish on-campus behavior left many unimpressed.

Elsewhere in the league, Tom Brady’s four-game suspension continues to make headlines. With the Patriots quarterback confirming plans to appeal the ban, reports today suggest that the NFL will likely hear that appeal in June.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport believes the June date will come into play because the NFL already have the appeal of Greg Hardy, the Dallas Cowboys DE suspended for 10 games earlier this offseason, slated for a mid-may start.

Across to the NBA playoffs, and James Harden produced a triple double performance to keep the Houston Rockets alive against the Clippers. A 124-103 win means the series moves to Game Six.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have the edge in their series against the Chicago Bulls, taking a 3-2 series lead thanks in large part to 38 points from LeBron James. The win could prove pivotal in the race for the Eastern Confernece championship game with the Bulls having to deal with injury (Gasol, Rose) as well as the ejection of Taj Gibon.

And finally, in baseball, the MLB has confirmed plans to increase ball security in the wake of the NFL’s deflategate scandal.
