Seth Rollins is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion despite facing competition on three fronts last night at Payback.
Ambrose retained his title against Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton at Payback in what was a great match.
The match proved to be an early contender for match of the year as the four superstars along with Kane and J&J Security gave us a night to remember.
We saw Shield reunions, the rebirth of the pedigree and Kane once again become actually influential in a main event once again.
Rollins retained his title after he delivered the pedigree to Randy Orton who was absent from RAW tonight.
Both Reigns and Orton were missing from RAW tonight and it was made obvious that Ambrose wanted another chance at the title.
Ambrose clashed with Rollins several times in the show but the final climax of the night proved to be the one where he got his wish.
Just like Rollins did to John Cena back in December to bring the Authority back into power, Ambrose held the WWE World Heavyweight Champion to ransom.
The Authority had no choice but to grant Ambrose his title match at Elimination Chamber as he held the champion against a pile of cinder blocks with a steel chair hovering above his head.
Rollins never met the fate he deserves unfortunately and he managed to escape the lunatic fringe but that may not last too long.
Another epic clash?
Rollins and Ambrose had several clashes last year and each were contenders for the award of last years match of the year.
From their lumberjack match at Summer Slam to the epic encounter at Hell in a Cell, the two know each other well from their days in the Shield and last years battles.
Ambrose and Rollins have wowed the WWE Universe numerous times in the last 12 months and they are set to do it once again at Elimination Chamber.
