Mourinho wants Petr Cech to stay

Chelsea fans are readily singing the praises of Jose Mourinho having seen The Special One clinch the Premier League title with consummate ease this season, but many of them will have been given cause to pause by the rumours suggesting he had been approached with regards to returning to Real Madrid. Mourinho has now moved to refute the claims, but did confirm he had been speaking to Florentino Perez all the same. The Blues boss said Perez had congratulated him on winning the English title, but there was no mention of him being offered the chance to replace Carlo Ancelotti. In other news Mourinho has admitted that Petr Cech could well join Arsenal, by insisting that he won’t have the final say. It was made clear that he doesn’t want Cech to move to another top team, but the decision will ultimately be up to the player.
