Leicester fans have endured a roller coaster ride in their first season back in the Premier League since 2003/04.
But their status in England's top flight will be sustained thanks to their miraculous survival, gaining 19 points from a possible 24 in the previous eight games.
Now those fans are going to be rewarded, and have been told by the clubs owners: "This one's on us."
The Foxes' board are getting the rounds in on Sunday's final game of the season at the King Power Stadium and have issued every home fan with a token to reclaim a free beer or a bottle of water as a gesture of appreciation for what has been a stressful season.
The vice chairman had this to say on the clubs website:
"We want to say thank you to our fans for their incredible support this season."
The Foxes' faithful have more than earned their pint on Sunday, as they've endured a tough first season back in the top flight - but will be delighted to go into the summer knowing their status remains.
They secured safety following a goalless draw at Sunderland, but no so long ago, the East Midlands side was written off.
A brilliant start to the campaign soon whimpered out before Christmas with the doom of relegation looming for the majority of the season.
However, an encouraging set of supporters and brilliant performances against arguably stronger sides has seen the Foxes climb out of the relegation zone.
Hard work rewarded
It's no surprise that some of the players' performances have been recognised, with striker Jamie Vardy being called up to the senior England squad for the games with Republic of Ireland and Slovenia in June.
It's been a season of congratulations for the fans already as last week's travelling supporters for the game at Sunderland received complimentary breakfast from the board, all 3,000 of them.
The treat is a reminder to the fans that the hard work of the first season in the top flight has been well worth it, and an indication of more things to come.
