The return of the Elimination Chamber gave us a lot to consider when it finally made its re-emergence into the WWE tonight.

We saw an incredible match between Kevin Owens and John Cena who gave us another early contender for match of the year.

We were treated to the first ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber match and saw the New Day retain their titles after finally defeating the Prime Time Players.

Nikki Bella regained her Divas Championship whilst Neville continued his dominance over Bo Dallas which started back in their days in NXT.

Perhaps the biggest bombshells however surrounded the Intercontinental Championship and the announcement from the former champion Daniel Bryan that he will one day return to the WWE.

The other big revelation to do with the championship is that we finally have a champion once again.

In the second Elimination Chamber match of the night, we saw six men battle it our for the Intercontinental Championship.

Ryback emerged victorious after outlasting Sheamus, R- Truth, Dolph Ziggler, King Barrett and the surprise entrant, Mark Henry.

Henry was included in the match after it was confirmed just an hour before the event that Rusev wasn't medically cleared to compete in the match.

Ryback would be placed in the chamber to begin the match and would end up being one-on-one with Sheamus to end the match.

After hitting Sheamus with Shellshocked, the Big Guy earned his first ever Championship in the WWE.

Who's next?

The question of what is next for Ryback is the big question with many viewing Sheamus and Ryback as the binary opposites going into the Chamber.

The two had faced off on RAW and Ryback emerged victorious tonight meaning that we could be about to see the Big Guy and the Celtic Warrior go head to head on a more regular basis.
