Manchester United are set to launch a sensational bid to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to Goal.com.
The report claims that Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal wants to add the England international to his squad, with it being suggested that the club are ready to put together a mega package together in order to secure his services.
In fact, the report claims that the Red Devils will offer the trio of Adnan Januzaj, Nani and Javier Hernandez to the north London outfit in a move worth up to £50m for the young forward.
Kane, of course, enjoyed a glorious campaign at White Hart Lane, where he found the back of the net on as many as 21 occasions in England's elite division.
There's no doubt about it, the youngster is recognised as one the most talented young strikers in Europe, so it's not entirely surprising that the Red Devils are set to make their move.
In fact, the report goes to reveal that the United hierarchy are convinced that they can land the player, despite Spurs seemingly adamant that he's not for sale.
Januzaj should stay
You can hardly blame United for doing all they can to sign Kane, as they're clearly in need of improvement in the attacking department after the departure of Colombian ace Radamel Falcao.
And it makes sense that United chiefs are looking to offload the duo of Nani and Javier Hernandez, who were both sent out on loan last term, but the club would be wrong to give up on Belgian international Januzaj at this stage in his career.
Ok, so he endured a tricky campaign under Van Gaal last term but he's certainly capable of producing the goods in Manchester for many years to come. Sending him out on loan would be the right thing to do.
