Alvaro Negredo has only just been purchased by Valencia, but the Spanish side are already trying to sell him back to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Liverpool two of the clubs who have been offered his services. The ex-Man City man was loaned out to Valencia last summer, with an agreement in the clause stating the La Liga outfit had to buy him when his temporary spell ended. Well, they have, but they want to offload him for around £24 million due to the fact he was in relatively poor form this season just gone. It’s said though that Arsene Wenger has turned down the opportunity after being offered him, with Brendan Rodgers having done the same. Elsewhere it’s coincidentally Man City who have made the first move to sign Raheem Sterling, according to reports. The England international is believed to be a top target of Wenger’s, but don’t worry Arsenal fans Liverpool are said to have rejected an initial bid to the tune of £25m plus add-ons.
