Red Devils make huge decision on David de Gea

David de Gea could well leave Manchester United this summer but it appears that it won’t be on the cheap. Following reports yesterday that Real Madrid had offered a frankly insulting £13 million to sign the Spaniard, updates today infer that the Red Devils have flatly refused and warned Los Blancos that they won’t be getting their man for anything less than he’s worth. It’s believed United are after at least £25m for their star performer, whose contract is due to expire next summer, and let’s face it, Real aren’t known for being short on cash. The result is that the Spanish giants have to play ball or risk losing their top target. We don’t think there’s a chance they’ll try and gamble again. Meanwhile United have registered an interest in Belgium international Axel Witsel, currently plying his trade for Zenit St. Petersburg. Formal enquiries for the midfielder have been offered, it’s reported, as Van Gaal looks to improve his midfield.
