The rumours surrounding Petr Cech’s potential move to Arsenal continue to rumble on but it would appear that Tomas Rosicky is doing everything in his power to convince his international teammate to push for a deal. The Gunners midfielder has confirmed that he has talked to Cech about moving clubs, which could be good news for Arsenal given their need for a world-class goalkeeper. There’s no doubting the fact that Cech would drastically improve Arsene Wenger’s squad, so as far as we’re concerned Rosicky can crack on. Elsewhere Arsenal are preparing high-level contract talks with Theo Walcott as they attempt to convince the England international to stay in north London. Walcott’s future is uncertain at this point although negotiations are underway for an extension on his current Emirates deal. Expect an update on that in the coming weeks.
