Punters aren't normally the most vocal of players in the NFL, but in the case of New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford, he is trying to change that.
Weatherford is busy preparing for the Giants upcoming season but he has taken some time out to discuss the situation currently unfolding in Philadelphia.
Weatherford and the Giants have been far behind the Eagles for a while now but his comments today make it seem like he is confident that they can catch up next year.
The Eagles will be starting next season with two new names on the quarterback depth chart as they signed Tim Tebow and traded for Sam Bradford earlier in the off-season.
Mark Sanchez will also be returning to the Eagles next year and all three have come under fire from the Giants punter.
Starting with Tebow, Weatherford claimed to be the biggest Tebow fan in the world before he quickly turned around.
"I mean, who wouldn't want their daughter to date a guy like that? I'll tell you [what], I don't want him taking snaps for my team." - Weatherford on Tebow
Weatherford wasn't exactly kind to Tebow but the Eagles new quarterback should probably consider himself lucky compared to Sanchez and Bradford.
"I'm gonna give you a Ferrari that maybe won't be running all the time, or I'm giving you a nice Cadillac sedan."
Perhaps a strange comparison to make but Weatherford wasn't done there.
"It's not the fastest but you know what you're going to get out of it. ... Bradford can go zero to 60 in three seconds. But you don't know if he's going to start up some days."
Either way, the two Eagles v Giants games next season should be more than a little interesting.
What is the plan?
The Eagles have been heavily questioned this off-season after a string of seemingly strange moves in free agency and beyond.
LeSean McCoy and Nick Foles were both traded away by the franchize and many have asked what head coach Chip Kelly is plotting.
Whatever the plan is in Philadelphia, the first question that we are due to get answered is who will be starting under center next season?
