Injuries appear to be a big part of the WWE these days and another superstar can now be added to the injury list along with the likes of Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso.

Having recently turned face and reunited with his one time Wyatt Family member Luke Harper, Erick Rowan has suffered a very serious injury.

Out for a long time

Rowan has reportedly suffered a torn bicep which has now been diagnosed as worse than first feared by medical staff.

It had been expected that he would be out for an estimated four months, however that timescale has now been increased.

With an estimated six months until his return, the questions over the future of Rowan and now also Harper come into question.

The two had recently reunited and looked set to overtake the tag team division once again as they did when affiliated with Bray Wyatt.

With Rowan now being injured for a long time, the question becomes what will the WWE now do with Harper?

Harper is a former Intercontinental Champion and there can certainly be a place for him amongst the singles roster.

Neither man has been seen on WWE TV for a while now and it will be interesting to see how they choose to bring Harper back into it.

A rejuvenated division

The tag team division was under immense pressure just a few months ago as it lacked a high number of championship contenders.

Now with the emergence of the New Day, return of the Prime Time Players and debut of the Lucha Dragons, the division has more life in it.

It is still a long way from returning to the heights it was several years ago but it is certainly on the rise.
