Edin Dzeko could be about to end his ordeal at Manchester City and move to AS Roma, according to his Bosnian team mate Miralem Pjanic.
Dzeko "would run to Roma", revealed Pjanic, who seems more than keen to add his international team mate to his side's attacking threat.
Dzeko has found it very difficult since joining City back in 2011 as he has been very hit and miss for the former Premier League champions. The Bosnian, however, has a very good goals-to-game ratio, with 50 goals in 130 appearances in all competitions for the Citizens. A good return for a player who has been used from the bench a lot of the time.

Problems for Dzeko, not Pjanic
Dzeko has slipped further down the pecking order since the arrival of Wilfred Bony in January and he may seek a new club this summer to be top dog. However, with a reported wage of £100,000-a-week he must be willing to take a pay cut if he is to be able to join clubs such as Roma.
That said, as relayed by the Daily Mirror, Pjanic does not think that the wages would be the stumbling block a proposed switch.
"Dzeko would run to Roma and the wages won't be a problem, as he'd adjust them," he said.
"It all depends on the club."
However, Dzeko's agent has since stated that his client will not be leaving for Roma, simply because he does not want to depart the Etihad. You have to wonder if the £100,000-a-week to sit on the bench is a factor in the reason why he wants to stay with City, as if Dzeko wants to get his career back on track then a move away is vital for him, especially at the age of 29.
“I was frankly surprised by Pjanic’s comments, unless he knows something that I don’t,” Redzepagic (Dzeko's agent) told Italian sources.
“I have had no contact with Roma, nor am I aware of any talks between the two clubs.
“It’s not a financial issue, he simply doesn’t want to leave the Citizens.”
