Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan is just days away from completing €35 million move to Barcelona, reports talkSPORT.
The Turkey international appeared to be heading to the Premier League earlier this week after it became clear he would leave the Vicente Calderon.
However, a late bid from Barcelona has essentially ended any hope of Turan moving to England with the radio station's Spanish football correspondent Begona Perez claiming a deal is all but done.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Perez said: "There could be an announcement in the next couple of days but it is pretty much done. The fee is €35million.
"He was linked to Chelsea and Manchester United but this is a player the Barcelona manager Luis Enrique wanted."
Bad news for these guys
That is bad news for Manchester United and Chelsea, who were both considering bids for Turan, but it is the Red Devils who may feel more aggrieved if earlier reports are to be believed.
A story in Friday morning's AS claims that Turan has already agreed a deal in principle with the Old Trafford club but was simply waiting to see if Chelsea would offer something better.
There is no suggestion that Louis van Gaal had managed to agree a transfer fee with his counterpart Diego Simeone but they fact that personal terms were agreed suggests there was a real intention to bring the 28-year-old to Manchester.
A strange deal
What makes this proposed deal seem strange is not because Atletico a strengthening a direct La Liga rival but because Turan will not be eligible to play for Barcelona until their registration ban is lifted on January 1.
As one of Europe's most creative players, he does not deserve to be sitting on the sidelines for six months, especially as he approaches the peak of his powers.
However, if the alternative is moving to the Premier League, where trophies are harder to come by than they are at the Nou Camp, Turan may have little other choice but to jump at this opportunity.
Would Arda Turan be making a mistake by joining Barcelona?
