Agent says Arsenal forward is leaving club

Lukas Podolski’s Arsenal career is all but over. It’s a sad fact but fans are going to have to get used to it given that his agent has now practically confirmed that a move to Galatasaray will be taking place. The Germany international has been hotly linked with an exit from the Gunners following a failed loan spell away from the club at Inter Milan, and his agent has confirmed that although Arsene Wenger did try and convince the forward to stay, he couldn’t guarantee him game-time. As a result Podolski has apparently signed on the dotted line at Gala. Here’s to hoping he doesn’t flop in Turkey. Of course he might not be the only Arsenal player to leave this summer if Wenger gets his way. It’s believed five others could follow him, with Yaya Sanogo, Joel Campbell, Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina and Mathieu Flamini close to getting the dreaded axe.
