WWE: Why NXT could be the future of the Women's division

Ever since her arrival in WWE a few years ago, Eva Marie has not been a big hit with the fans.

Eva Not Over

From her attitude on Total Divas to her lack of skill and technique in the ring, the WWE Universe have despised the redhead for a while, but it seems that could be about to change.

Eva Marie has been missing from WWE TV for a while because she has been training with Brian Kendrick in the performance centre and judging by some of the videos, she could be the next big thing.

The "All Red Everything" leader received a lot of heat during her return promo on NXT a few weeks ago, before William Regal told her that if she wanted a chance on one of the most competitive brands in the world, then she would have to prove it.

Many fans forget that Trish Stratus was as much of a rookie as Eva was when she first debuted in WWE but much like Eva, she took the time to train and had one thing that a lot of the current superstars lack, passion.

Trish is still a record seven time women's champion and defined an era in WWE and given the passion and talent that has been seen from Eva over the past few months, it is likely that she could do the same thing.

Eva will have the likes of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Paige and Charlotte to learn from, much like Lita, Molly Holly and Ivory back in the early 2000's, the new division of women could be just as defined.

The Bellas Blow

The Bellas have taken the Divas Championship as low as it can go, the two women never had the passion for wrestling and began their careers as models. They have never shown the passion that has been revealed by the current NXT crop and giving the championship to one of the divas that possess that would be the first step in the right direction.

It seems the rumours coming out of Battleground right now are that there will be yet another Tag match between the Divas as The Bellas take on Paige and a debuting Charlotte. The only hope if that this will lead to a Divas Championship match and Charlotte will take the spoils.

If Nikki holds the title past September 15th then she will be the longest reigning Divas Champion in history, and since this is the worst position the Divas have ever been in, Nikki Bella doesn't deserve to break AJ Lee's record, but one of the future divas could be the answer.
