Twitter was abuzz with debate over whether Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez was better than Chelsea's Eden Hazard after the former scored the winning penalty in Chile's Copa America final against Argentina in a shootout, following a 0-0 draw.
According to some Arsenal fans, Sanchez's exploits in South America's biggest football competition has elevated him above Hazard, who himself has yet to win a major title with Belgium.
Hazard won the Professional Footballers' Association, Football Writers' Association and Barclays Player of the year awards respectively after shining for Chelsea in last season's Premier League-winning campaign.

The Chilean scored 16 Premier League goals and provided eight assists last season, while Hazard accumulated 14 and nine respectively.
