Van Gaal confident transfer is imminent after another manager's statement

Published 1 Comments

Manchester United are confident that a deal for Morgan Schneiderlin can be wrapped up in the coming days, having taken note of Ronald Koeman’s comments earlier this week confirming the Frenchman would be sold for the right price. The Saints star is wanted by both United and Arsenal though it’s the former who are believed to be ahead in the race, with Louis van Gaal pushing for a deal before the Red Devils jet off on their pre-season tour next Monday. What’s more United think they can barter Southampton down to £25million despite the fact the south-coast club want closer to £27m, either way though they certainly have the money. Don’t be surprised to see Schneiderlin unveiled as a United player very soon, with an agreement surely just around the corner. Moving on to more speculative news it’s claimed in Germany that discussions have taken place over a possible swap deal involving Angel Di Maria and Mario Gotze.
