Stardust being kept off TV?

Football News

For a long time now, Stardust has been absent from WWE TV and it looks like his absence will continue for longer than expected.

Stardust had been expected to be involved in a celebrity angle with Stephen Amell at this year's Summer Slam before tragedy struck his family.

Unwanted delay

Stardust who is the son of WWE hall of famer Dusty Rhodes sadly lost his father resulting in him taking time away from WWE programming.

As a result of his fathers death, Stardust disappeared and his angle for Summer Slam was also abandoned.

However it now appears that Stardust is ready to return after he was seen backstage at Monday's tapings of RAW.

Stardust was backstage but the WWE decided not to use him because they fear that the fans wouldn't respond to him the right way.

Plans are in place to turn Stardust face however for the time remaining, he is a heel superstar and they feared he may not receive a heel's reception.

As a result of his father dying, the higher ups were afraid that he would not be booed like all heels do and this is said to be the reason they did not use him.

WWE are now expected to be waiting for the opportune time to bring Stardust back but it is anyone's guess when that could be.

Who to go after?

Who Stardust could be returning to feud with is also anyone's guess but it also depends on what role they choose to bring him back in to.

Should he return as a heel, there will be plenty of mid card face superstars such as Neville, R-Truth or even the Intercontinental Champion Ryback that he could target.

However if he should become a face, King Barrett, Bo Dallas or even the Miz could be his potential targets.
