There isn't long left until the NFL season and even less time left until the start of pre-season which means less time for coaches to make their decisions.

Some coaches have some big choices to make about who they will be using as their starters next season.

New year, same problem

For the second year in a row, it would appear that there is a race for the starting spot at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.

Once again Johnny Manziel is involved and once again he appears to be losing, but this time to former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh McCown.

The Browns brought in McCown in free agency and he has reportedly been impressing the coaches in Cleveland.

It's not just the coaches in Cleveland who are happy with McCown, but another man brought in by the browns is impressed to.

Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has made the move north to Ohio and has had his say on who should be starting under center next season.

"I never had a quarterback like Josh [McCown] that was that tall and could see the mismatch and really go to it ... He's got my confidence level high right now." - Bowe on McCown at QB

Bowe is an eight year veteran and was playing with Alex Smith in Kansas last year but didn't receive a single touchdown pass.

Bowe will have been happy with a change of scenery but only time will tell if Cleveland can serve as his rightful place.

Where's Johnny?

For the second year it a row, it appears that Johnny Manziel won't be starting in week one for the Browns.

The controversial quarterback has once again been in the headlines this off-season but for completely different reasons than last year.

So far, Manziel's NFL journey has been unsuccessful and only time will tell if he will actually find a place in the league.
