West Bromwich Albion are keepings tabs on Manchester United defender Johnny Evans according to reports.
The Baggies completed the signing of Darren Fletcher in January and are now looking to another United favorite Johnny Evans.
Evans who still has a lot of playing time left in his career aged only 27, is believed to be looking for a move away after Louis Van Gaal has reportedly told the defender he is not in his plans for the new campaign.
However Man Utd are reportedly looking to fetch a fee upwards of £10 million, a price tag in which is hard to believe the Baggies will pay.
Sources close to West Brom claim that Tony Pulis has identified the defender as a target but with such an asking price Pulis may look towards a loan option for the Northern Ireland defender.
Evans made just 14 appearances for the Red Devils last season, two of which were as a substitute. With Fletcher already playing at the Hawthorns, the Baggies will hope he can have an influence on Johnny Evans decision.
Should Manchester United sell Jonny Evans when they are short of defensive options?
