While most Serie A clubs struggle in competing in a league that is yet to be reestablished, Juventus stands out head and shoulders above the pack.

These past few years have not just shown us Juventus' Italian dominance, but also their potential European threat.

Despite losing to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final, Juventus made a strong claim that they had reemerged as one of Europe's best.

The 3-1 scoreline did not tell the whole story, as Juventus had put up a tough fight and put the wickedly strong Barcelona side to work for their trophy.

However, the final was not the only match where Juventus made their presence in Europe known. Defeating the likes of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, the latter of which they did comfortably, Juventus were able to knock out two top European teams.

Indeed, their disposal of Real Madrid came as a shock, with former Madrid player Alvaro Morata scoring twice in two legs to knock his former club out.

Excellent transfers

Additionally, Juventus' investment in players has been largely beneficial to their success. Arturo Vidal, Claudio Marchisio, Paul Pogba, and, more recently, Paulo Dybala, and Mario Mandzukic, are just a few of the big transfers that Juventus have managed to land recently.

Most of these shrewd purchases have, on many occasions in Italy and Europe, shown their world-class ability. Under Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus have made cheap and profitable deals in the transfer market that have largely led to the success of the team.

Perfectly placed

Despite losing the likes of Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo, Juventus have already seemingly replaced them with the purchases of talented or experienced individuals such as Sami Khedira, Paulo Dybala, and Mario Mandzukic.

With their updated stadium, successful and consistent managerial staff, and talented batch of individuals, Juventus have all the tools to succeed in Europe and establish themselves as a European powerhouse.
