Olivier Giroud talks about criticism fired at him by Thierry Henry

Most Arsenal fans were surprised to see Thierry Henry criticise Olivier Giroud mid-way through last season, with the Gunners legend claiming his compatriot perhaps wasn’t the right man to lead Arsenal’s title charge. Naturally Giroud reacted with puzzlement, and it would appear that the hard feelings aren’t altogether gone even now. According to ESPN Giroud has offered an update as to how he is feeling with regards to Henry’s comments, and somewhat unsurprisingly he wants to have a talk about the matter. Whilst Giroud said he did know what Henry meant, we sense that he’s a little miffed to have been called out publicly by one of the most revered strikers to have ever played the game. Moving on Arsenal forward Yaya Sanogo will have a medical tomorrow ahead of a loan switch to Dutch giants Ajax, or so say reports. It will likely be the youngster’s last opportunity to impress Arsene Wenger, with many being of the opinion that he isn’t good enough for the Gunners squad.
