WWE need to capitalise on Cesaro's popularity

As fans, we believe our favourite superstars and divas are the ones that deserve a push. Whether it be in main event matches every single week or receive a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

One superstar the majority of the WWE Universe can agree that needs or at least deserves a solid push is Cesaro.

It looked like we were finally going to get a solid Cesaro push last year, when he won the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and created a WrestleMania moment when he tossed The Big Show over the top rope.

Then he aligned himself with Paul Heyman the very next night, becoming an official Paul Heyman guy.

Many thought that would be the night Cesaro is catapulted to super stardom but it didn’t quite work out that way, he’s been unlucky. Luckily for him, he aligned himself with a fellow impressive technical wrestler in Tyson Kidd and the duo set the tag team division alight.

Their luck only got worse, as Tyson Kidd suffered a severe spinal cord/neck injury and now Cesaro had to go at it alone and it was thought his luck would only get worse.

But it’s refreshing to see that Cesaro is actually the name on every fans’ lips right now.

Once more, the WWE Universe are behind Cesaro in solid fashion and now is the perfect time for the WWE to capitalise on the reaction Cesaro is getting before it’s too late once more.

Recently, we have seen Cesaro put one foot into the Kevin Owens and John Cena feud and he has had two incredible singles matches with Cena.

Cena went as far as calling Cesaro out in Chicago after Monday Night Raw went off air and acknowledged just how good he really is.

This past week he was involved in another fantastic match, this time taking on Owens and Rusev in the best match of the night, one we are still talking about today.

Just how the WWE push Cesaro remains to be seen, but you can really feel that the WWE has one thing or another planned for Cesaro.

Triple H is a big fan of both Tyson Kidd and Cesaro and it has been claimed that the two were set to receive another push, but Tyson Kidd’s injury has obviously scuppered plans, but not for Cesaro.

Daily Wrestling News have reported that Triple H still wants to push Cesaro, and even Vince McMahon has given his stamp of approval on a push.

It makes sense for Cesaro to continue chasing Owens and Cena.

The matches they have put on and will continue to put on is great and Cesaro could even be the one who takes the United States Championship. Something not many would have seen coming as Owens is the favourite to dethrone Cena, but right now you can’t rule out Cesaro.

If anyone deserves the push, it’s Cesaro. He’s been a hard worker, he clearly gives it all in the ring and although he isn’t the best on the microphone his in-ring work speaks volumes and the WWE Universe realises that.

The better matches Cesaro continues to put on, the more of a chance he will receive a better push and judging by the way things are going, we should expect Cesaro to continue being the big talking point.

The WWE need to capitalise on his popularity, who knows whether he'll be at this stage again regardless of his talent.
