Manchester United and Sergio Ramos; two juggernauts of football who seemed destined to be thrown together this summer as the Spaniard had fallen out of favour at Real Madrid. Well, once again it would appear that the mass speculation has been as misleading as it has downright false, as Rafael Benitez has confirmed he has no plans to sell the World Cup winner and that Florentino Perez also wants to keep him. Recent footage from Real Madrid’s training camp has shown Ramos as being all smiles, and if we’re perfectly honest aside from trying to blag himself a new contract at the Bernabeu he really doesn’t have any reason to threaten to leave. In other news coincidentally Benitez has offered an update on another potential Real/ United deal, claiming that David de Gea isn’t a Real player yet and that Keylor Navas is the club’s number one. Will it stay that way? It’s anyone’s guess, but the longer things go on the more it seems Real c
