Barcelona's Pedro and Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller are at the top of Manchester United's transfer list for the remainder of the summer window.

So far the Red Devils have completed deals for four players for more than £80 million. Memphis Depay was the first arrival from PSV Eindhoven, while he was soon followed by Matteo Darmian from Torino.

Midfield duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin were the latest to arrive at Old Trafford for a combined fee of around £40 million, and plenty more are expected to follow.

According to ESPN, securing more attacking options for the upcoming season remains a priority with Robin van Persie gone and Angel di Maria reportedly close to joining Paris Saint-Germain.

Pedro and Thomas Muller are said to be the men for the job, although the former may be easier to secure than the latter.

As it stands Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal can only call upon Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernadez and James Wilson in attack, and he wants to add a top-quality forward before the window shuts. Edinson Cavani has been touted as a potential option, but ESPN say Muller is Van Gaal's main option.

However the German international has insisted he wants to remain in the Bundelisga and Bayern don't want to sell. Pedro meanwhile has a £22 million release clause in his contract that Manchester United are set to activate, and the deal could be done soon.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Pedro in recent weeks, along with Arsenal and Liverpool.

What score out of ten does Van Gaal get for his transfer business so far?
