Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is being linked with a permanent summer move to Crystal Palace.
The young English striker has impressed on a string of loan spells away from Stamford Bridge, scoring goals for MK Dons in League One and then Derby County and Middlesbrough in the Championship.
His form at the Riverside was particularly impressive last season, helping Aitor Karanka's side to the playoff final with 17 goals in 39 league matches. They fell short at Wembley however, losing 2-0 to Norwich.

Uncertainty still surrounds the 21-year-old following his return to Chelsea. Bamford is yet to make a senior appearance in any competition for his parent club, and the arrival of Radamel Falcao nullifies the exit of Didier Drogba in west London.
The Mail claims Palace boss Alan Pardew has sensed an opportunity to bring the U21 international to Selhurst Park and is keen to add the services of the forward after he was left out of the Blues' squad for the pre-season tour of North America.
Competition for signings
The Eagles were originally keen on adding Loic Remy to their ranks, according to the radio station, but have now turned their attentions to Bamford. However, they face competition from the likes of Aston Villa and Norwich City.
It's also claimed that a substantial bid would test the resolve of the Blues, who have long-term aspirations for the striker but could be tempted to sell at the right price.
Diego Costa looks certain to start the season as first choice on the King's Road after an impressive campaign for Chelsea last season, netting 20 times in just 26 Premier League games following the move from Atletico Madrid.
Remy was the reserve option behind the Spaniard with club legend Drogba also featuring on occasion, but his place has been taken by Falcao and it remains to be seen if either can challenge Costa on a regular basis during the coming season at Chelsea.
