Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has hinted that teammate Thomas Muller could follow Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United this summer, reports ESPN.
With Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal looking to improve his striker force at Old Trafford, Muller has been linked with a stunning move to the club in recent time, and Lahm has insisted that anything is possible in football.
United, of course, have already landed Schweinsteiger from the Bavarians in this transfer window, but it's far from certain as to whether they're going to step up their interest in Muller anytime soon.

Lahm, then, certainly wouldn't be shocked if his teammate departed in favour of a move to Manchester, as he claimed: "In football you can imagine everything," he said. "It's not my decision. In football, it goes so, so quickly.
"It's not always only up to the player. There are clubs who get players, players go.
Possible
"In football everything goes very, very quickly. I think you can never give a guarantee that it will work like this or like that.
"As a result, I certainly can't give any guarantee for Thomas Muller or talk about whether I can imagine [him leaving]. You can always imagine anything happening."
Despite admitting that a move for his teammate is possible, the Bayern skipper went on to suggest that they have nothing to be worried about, insisting that he doesn't expect the club to let him leave.
He continued by saying: "We're still a top club that every year, or in the last few years, has made at least the Champions League semifinal," he said.
"We have a top team that's very well-equipped this year as well and that can challenge on all fronts.
"So you don't have to be worried about anything. And I'm definitely not worried about Thomas -- I don't think we're going to let him go."
Muller would be amazing, but isn't realistic
Let's be honest, landing Thomas Muller would prove an incredible coup for Manchester United before the start of the new season, but surely Bayern aren't going to sell to the Red Devils again.
And would the centre-forward even fancy a move to Old Trafford? He certainly wouldn't accept a back-up role to United skipper Wayne Rooney, and surely United look set to play with one man in attack next term.
Van Gaal, of course, has recently promised a surprise signing, so the new recruit in attack really could be anyone.
