WWE: Bayley seemingly rejects The Bellas offer of a call up

Football News

Women's wrestling in the WWE was woefully boring in the past year or so since the departure of former Champion AJ Lee.

Divas Revolution

That led to the Bellas and Paige pushing out the same tired rivalry for months that became stale and necessitated the introduction of several talented stars from NXT to boost intrigue and create a revolution in the Divas Division.

Charlotte and Becky Lynch joined up with Paige, while Naomi and Tamina got the NXT Women's Champion, Sacha Banks, on their side. But their is still one female star down in NXT and it seems like The Bellas want her.

Bayley is currently mounting a charge for the Women's title down in NXT, beating Charlotte to claim Number One contender-ship for Banks' belt.

And that fact has not past The Bellas unnoticed, with the twins taking to Twitter in order to invite Bayley to join them, with a tweet reading ".@itsBayleyWWE can we have a hug??? Maybe all of #TeamBella ??? What do you say??"

A note for non-NXT viewers, Bayley bloody loves hugs and her character is that of the sweetest, kindest babyface that has ever existed in Wrestling. Think the John Cena of the women's world, but actually liked by the fans.

Thankfully, it seems that 'The Huggable One', or 'The Doctor of Hug-anomics' - whichever you prefer - has rejected the Bellas offer.

Despite having Nikki holding the title and being a heel for near enough all of this run, for some reason they are turning into a sort of 'tweener' where they're smiling and getting high five's during their entrances and Brie is doing Yes Kicks, while also acting like heels on the outside.

Until they clean their act up and either turn face or heel, I wouldn't want someone as talented as Bayley anywhere near that car crash of an un-watchable team

If the Bellas were heels and they brought Bayley in to bully her before she turned on them, I and other wrestling fans could get in to that, it's a solid storyline with an arc and character development. But putting her in their now just doesn't make sense and she is better off being in NXT and winning the title there.
