In what has to go down as the most shocking turn of events since CM Punk left the company, the WWE have apparently severed all ties with Hulk Hogan.

Hogan Gone

According to a report from Wrestling Inc, the WWE fired/parted ways with Hogan in the early hours of this morning.

Hogan has been completely removed from the WWE website, there is absolutely no trace of his existence on the site anywhere. This is serious.

Racial Tirade

According to Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc, the reason for Hogan's immediate dismissal stems from rumors of a tape existing that features Hogan allegedly going on a severely racial tirade. They then posted a link to this video where Hulk drops the N-word several times.

Hogan's profile has been removed from the Alumni section of WWE's website, all of his merchandise has been removed from WWEShop.com, and Hogan has been removed from the cast listing on Tough Enough's website.

Apparently the purge of everything Hogan is so wide-sweeping that it even includes Curtis Axel's 'Axelmania' character that is a parody of Hogan. Axel's Superstar profile has removed a picture of him in the character's get up.

Hogan went on to send out this weird tweet just before the news of his firing broke.

Whatever happened must be serious. The WWE haven't done a complete purge of someone like this since it was revealed that Chris Benoit murdered his family before committing suicide back in 2007.
