Salah deal imminent

Mohamed Salah’s future is extremely close to being determined, with Chelsea and AS Roma deep in negotiations.

Reports claim that the Egyptian has been waiting for things to conclude since agreeing terms with the Serie A giants last weekend, and that all that remains is for Chelsea and their Italian counterparts to agree on a fee.

It’s believed Salah will move to the Stadio Olimpico on an initial season-long loan deal, with Roma retaining the option to purchase him for £16m if he impresses.

Fiorentina are still in the mix to a degree, but it looks as though Salah doesn’t want to return there, with a transfer to their domestic rivals far more likely.

Moses' second chance

Elsewhere, it may come as a surprise but Jose Mourinho is willing to give flop signing Victor Moses a chance to prove himself in the capital.

The Special One said the Nigerian winger has experienced an ‘evolution’ in the past two years, and could use him this season. Moses has had recent loan spells with both Liverpool and Stoke City, but hasn’t impressed in the Premier League.
