Louis van Gaal looks irritated after Manchester United presenter snub

Louis van Gaal has blazed a trail since arriving in the Premier League last year - and it seems one intrepid reporter has take it upon himself to take the Dutchman down a peg or two.

In just 12 short months, the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss has splashed more than £150 million in the transfer market - in the process breaking the club's transfer record - sold a host of top stars including Robin van Persie, and essentially told the likes of Rafael and Victor Valdes that they're not good enough.

That's before we even get to the fact that he intends to sell the player he broke the club's transfer record for, Angel di Maria, just one season after he arrived.

So all in all, it's fair to say that Van Gaal isn't exactly afraid to do what he wants when he wants. So that makes this MUTV presenter's handshake snub all the better.

The Manchester United boss approached the presenter to give an interview ahead of their pre-season friendly against Barcelona tomorrow.

Little did Van Gaal know that the man was about to deliver an almighty custard pie by snubbing his offer of a handshake not once, but twice.

Van Gaal looked more than a little irritated as he poked his hand forward once more, and finally got the greeting he felt he deserved. The Red Devils take on Paris Saint-Germain after their showdown against Barcelona, before their first game of the Premier League season against Tottenham next month.
