Angel di Maria masks reduced to clear in Manchester United shop

It would appear that Angel di Maria is to imminently complete a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain just under a year after the Argentina international made his British record move to Manchester United.

Louis van Gaal has hinted that something may soon transpire, Laurent Blanc has claimed there is a strong possibility it will indeed happen and Zlatan Ibrahimovic...well, he has already welcomed Di Maria to Paris.

Now, it seems, the official Manchester United club shop has provided a further indication that an agreement is close.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, masks of Di Maria sold at the Old Trafford megastore have been reduced in price - from £3.50 to just £1 - in an apparent attempt to clear the product with his departure close.

And if you were about to suggest that perhaps all Manchester United masks have been reduced ahead of the new season, allow us to tell you this - the two other players to have made the bargain bin are Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao.

Can you see a pattern emerging?

It is something of a shame that Manchester United are set to move Di Maria on after just a single campaign with the club but, alas, he shall go down as one of their greatest transfer failures.

Is selling Angel di Maria the right decision my Manchester United?
