Tonight's episode of RAW was centred around the idea of 'the first time ever' and it led to some incredible moments and matches.

We saw Kevin Owens take on Randy Orton, the first ever NXT Women's Champion Paige take on the current champion Sasha Banks and the Big Show took on Dean Ambrose for the first time ever.

Explosive main event

One of the big rumours around the upcoming Summer Slam event is that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be taking on the United States Champion John Cena.

The two certainly clashed last week on RAW despite Rollins leaving before they came to blows.

They once again came face to face tonight on two different occasions and it didn't end well for the United States Champion.

Cena confronted the Authority at the top of the show and asked for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Rollins.

Instead, the Authority gave Rollins a United States Championship match as the main event of the night which promised a lot.

However a good match turned nasty for Cena after he took a knee to the face from Rollins and began to bleed uncontrollably.

Cena's nose began to swell and as the match somehow continued, it became apparent that Cena had broken his nose.

The images which followed for the remainder of the show tracked his injury which just got worse and worse.

It was a tribute to the endurance and sacrifice of John Cena as the show continued to roll and his nose began to worsen.

A doctor was constantly checking on Cena as the match went on and on proving that the injury was not planned and there was genuine concern.

The question remains however, what will happen with Cena next? Will this mean he has to take time out of the ring or will he be recovered for next week?

The start of a great feud?

We saw Cena and Rollins clash several times towards the end of 2014 and it now looks like they're on a collision course once again.

If the two do clash at Summer Slam, it appears to be shaping up that Cena will challenge Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Should Cena claim the title in Brooklyn however, he will become a 16 time champion and will tie Ric Flair for the most in history.
