This will be the second time Lesnar has wrestled in a non-televised WWE event since coming back to the company in 2012.

He did appear at this month’s ‘The Beast in the East’ WWE Network special which was in Japan, so this would be his first United States based live event in eleven years.

With the venue being Madison Square Garden, this could turn into a televised event on the WWE Network and receive the same amount of attention as ‘The Beast in the East’.

October 3 will mark the 25th anniversary since Jericho made his debut in wrestling. This could be celebrated at the event.

However, It is yet to be confirmed how either of the superstars will be involved in the show, or even if they will be in a match at all. They could face each other.

Lesnar and Jericho have never gone one-on-one during a televised event in the WWE. The only time they have been in the same match was during a Royal Rumble match at the 2003 Royal Rumble PPV, which was won by the Beast.

As well as The Beast and The Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla, several other superstars are expected to make an appearance.

John Cena is billed to go up against Seth Rollins. This match will be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Could the title have changed hands by that time?

Also scheduled for Madison Square Garden is Randy Orton vs Sheamus. Sheamus is being advertised as the Money in the Bank contract holder, but could he have cashed in the briefcase by then?

Dolph Ziggler is also scheduled to go up against Rusev on the same night as well.
